The theme for April’s box was Cursed Kingdoms!
Thorn by Intisar Khananai
Princess Alyrra is grateful to escape her own kingdom when she is sough as the bride for a powerful prince. But when she arrives at the new palace she finds herself transformed and trapped inside the body of a cruel maid.
Seven Endless Forests by April Genevieve Tucholke
In a world left devastated by plague, Torvi sets out on a mission to rescue her sister who has been captured by a pack of wolf-priests. Her quest unfolds into an adventure involving many magical elements.
I haven’t started either of these yet but they both sound so good!
Zelie Soap by Wild Eve
This is inspired by Children of Blood and Bone which I’m also yet to read! It has scents of rose and ylang ylang and I can confirm it smells yummy! Not too soapy!
Rule The World patch by Quotify
I don’t know where to put this. Maybe on my denim jacket? Where do you put your patches?
Sleeping Beauty eye mask by Book Box Club
I think I’d find this a bit uncomfortable if I was trying to sleep but I love the illustrations!
Beauty & The Beast biscuit by Gardners Cookies
This didn’t last very long. I love it when they include something edible!
Fantasy World Prints with artwork by Cathrin Peterslund
These prints are stunning! I love the colours used. Just need to decide how to display them. It’s hard putting things on walls when you rent!
There was also a sampler included of a new book by Sue Monk Kidd, The Book of Longings. I’ve only read The Secret Life of Bees but remembering it being really good so it will be interesting to see if this makes me want to read the full novel.
