I started playing along with this meme after I saw it on Amanda’s blog Literary Weaponry. I still can’t find the original. Time for part twelve!
The idea is:
- You go on to your Goodreads want to read shelf.
- Order the books so the date ascends.
- Take the first 5 or however many you want books. If you’re already doing this you start where you left off last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Then decide whether it stays or goes!
Current TBR: 219 It somehow went down since last time. Not sure what I did…

A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews – I added this for the same reason as the other book: Love her blog and bookstagram and want to read her books! KEEP
Chosen Ones by Veronica Roth – So I liked the first Divergent but wasn’t a fan of the rest of the trilogy. Chosen Ones though is an adult book and sounds quite interesting. It’s about five 20 year olds who are famous for saving the world when they were teenagers. This has good and bad reviews so I think I need to make my own mind up about it. KEEP
Crown of Smoke by P.M. Freestone – This is the second (and final) book in the Shadowscent series. I actually received the first book in a Book Box Club box I think last year. Or the year before. I really enjoyed the first one so want to see how the series ends. KEEP

The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury – I only discovered Melinda Salisbury this year when her book, Hold Back The Tide, was included in Book Box Club’s March box. I now want to read everything she’s written. Quite surprised it has some bad reviews but it also has some good ones. KEEP
State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury – Well I did say I now want to read everything she’s written! Another young adult fantasy. KEEP
New TBR: 219. I might go through and get rid of the ones I actually own because I won’t be getting rid of books I own…
I have Chosen Ones – but I haven’t read it yet. I hope to get to it soon. The premise sounds really interesting.
